About MA4MS

The Founder’s Journey Supports the Mission

The founder story matters because it explains the lived experience behind MA4MS. It does not make the site about its founder.

Context and Trust

David Ellinger founded MA4MS in 2006 after decades of martial arts experience and a 2002 diagnosis of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. A foundational lesson from a Ving Tsun Kung Fu Grandmaster—“Do your horse”—became a reminder to return to stance, breathing, balance, patience, and basics.

Mission Comes First

The full concise story and real founder photograph appear in the Founder’s Journey section of About MA4MS. It establishes why the project exists, then returns attention to the people the site serves.

No AI Stand-In
