Choosing the Right Practice for Today
The right practice is not the hardest one. It is the one that fits the person safely today.
Start With Position
Choose standing, seated, wheelchair-based, or bedbound practice based on current access and safety. Position is not a ranking. Switching positions is adaptation, not failure.
Then Consider Energy and Symptoms
Fatigue, heat, vision, balance, sensation, pain, concentration, and recovery can change. A plan that worked yesterday may not fit today. The Every Ability Level framework exists so visitors can change the method without leaving practice behind.
Choose a Method
Physical movement is only one method. Visualization, breathing, observation, mental rehearsal, and a deliberate rest cycle can all teach attention and timing.
End Before Practice Becomes Punishment
Short practice can be complete practice. Stopping before exhaustion preserves choice and can make it easier to return another day.
